I' m happy you found your way here!

Samantha Rajchel LCSW/MSW,RSW

I imagine you are looking for a therapist because you are wanting some support, clarity or change. Whatever brought you here today is valid.

I work primarily with women who feel overwhelmed by overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or the pressure to hold it all together. Many of my clients are the ones everyone relies on, yet underneath they feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. Together, we explore the patterns that keep you stuck so you can feel more connected to yourself, more confident in who you are, and more secure in your relationships.

I believe that your relationship with your therapist is the most important part of the process. I know it can feel hard to reach out when you don’t know me, therapy can feel intimidating, and it takes courage to start. I wanted to share a bit about myself and my journey so you can get a sense of who I am and how I got into this work.

I’ve always been passionate about helping people, but finding my path forward after university wasn't always clear or easy. I kept seeking opportunities, learning, and putting myself out there... eventually landing volunteer roles at mental health agencies, supporting women and children affected by domestic violence, and a job as a research assistant at the University of Toronto. It didn’t take long before I realized this was exactly where I was meant to be. This work brings me joy, purpose, and fulfillment.

Since completing my Master of Social Work, I’ve gained experience working with children, youth, adults, and families across a variety of settings. Through this work, I’ve developed a deep passion for supporting women in particular, not only because of my professional experience, but also because I deeply relate to how challenging it can be to navigate life and this world as a woman. Many women come to therapy feeling disempowered, lost, or stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or trying to live up to what they “should” be. My work is about helping women find their voice, reconnect with themselves, and explore who they are beyond the expectations and messages they’ve been given.

I traveled with my husband for about two years. That experience taught me a great deal about slowing down, navigating through discomfort, trusting myself, and creating a life aligned with my values. We eventually settled in Florida and now have two children. As a mom, I deeply understand both the joy and complexity of motherhood. That experience continues to inform my work with women navigating life's many demands. My goal is to empower women, and moms in particular, to connect with themselves, grow, and heal in ways that feel authentic and attainable. Above all, I’m a fellow human, continuing my own journey of growth and healing alongside my clients.
